But if we are in control or put ourselves through the triggers our reaction is less. As a simple quick test on control, the next time you find your self in a situation where you are faced with a trigger. Say this or something like it. " I choose to be here, I choose to experience this trigger and I can tolerate it " See if that helps because it does help me to a large degree.
