It has a wrist band that you wear and then an array that goes in the water of the foot bath. It turns the water brown, but I always wonder if it isn't the action of the salt rusting the arrays that is darkening the water. I guess I am a skeptic about them as I have read some very mixed reviews on them. If I were you, I would look at getting an infrared Sauna tent instead. They are about the same price and I know that the sauna works. I started with a Sauna tent and then eventually went to a big cabinet type IR sauna. > > Has anyone purchased a detox foot bath and felt that it helped with detoxing? From what I've seen whether you put your foot in the water or not it turns a dark orange color. Now I don't know about the black speck if they will show up without the feet in them.
