Guest guest
Some shakers are made for the hard of hearing, others not. Here is a link to some vibrators without loud alarms. http://www.4alarmclocks.com/vialcl.html My tinnitus is my alarm clock....after 5-6 hours of a drug induced sleep it creeps in and wakes me. Some days I can fight it and go back to sleep. Many days, I am up at 5 and doing quiet housework. Then after my 4 mile walk I have some bonus time for myself. My husband is the snorer. I try to make sure I am asleep before he gets to bed. But, if my ears wake me up and he is snoring, I get up instead of fighting it...thereby decreasing my stress level. I am learning so much from everyone here. When I first signed up I was too overwhelmed to contribute much. I hope to do more now that I am feeling better about the diagnosis. prn Re: Sleeping while roommate sniffles... I'll look into that. My concern with the other alarm clock linked here was that when I looked up the amazon page, it seemed that it was meant to make a particularly loud noise as well, which isn't really necessary and seems inconsiderate given the shared living conditions (we all can hear our neighbors' ordinary alarm clocks through the walls). Do you know of any specific brand that works well?>
