Guest guest
To all of you that have SSI or SSD . I need to walk on egg shells on this topic .. I got my SSD back in 98' and I don't know if the law has changed or not, but back than if you were on SS each 3 years you had a review to see if they were going to keep you on SS, if your condition got better they would take you off your SS. Now I got my SS for my broken back and it was so bad that I recieved a letter from SS telling me that I would never get a review because I was Permantly Disabled. So I have that condition and now Stills . That being said, If you go see your doctor and you are having a really good day and the doctor puts that in your records than the SS board will see it and may take you off SS. If you have many good days with your doctor you could loss your SS if you get my meaning. Keep a good day to yourself and not in your records. They don't understand good days and bad days. i.e. you never feel good and your condition never get's better. Now if you get better and want to go back to work ,which I wish I could, than that is your dicission as to how to handel your personal information you give your doctor that will go into your chart. Guest guest
Oh Yeah, me AGAIN! I can say unequivocally that is bang on the money with his post! I am an Advocate for CPPD and PWD ( Canada's acronym for SSDI) and I assist people in getting their pensions. When we are filling out the paperwork I ask them to tell me what their worst days are like. Starting from that premise we fill out the required forms. Remember that, as said, your Doctor may not be the SSDI doc, but he is monitoring you, so be mindful not to bounce into his office when you're having a good day. I'll try and be quiet for a minnit!
