Guest guest
Marcy, Just to let you know a little insite on s tests...Both my boys have been getting colonoscopy for years...They give these kids enough to ease their pain and to calm them down...Neither on of the guys really mind having this test...They will sleep for hours after...They are given verset and I think morphine..Ty's not hear or I could ask him...They will talk and then doze and then talk some more...They say things that they would not normally say...The docs and I have an understanding that what ever my boys says will go no further...LOL...They will say some pretty out there stuff...I have been there with them a couple of times and Ty is a real comic...Has us all laughing so hard that there are tears... is a little more quiet...which he isn't normally...They are both pretty much goofy..They are both musicians...so that explains it all...So is my husband...They are all just a little over the edge...if you know what I mean... So don't get yourself worked up about this...he should do fine...the worst of the whole thing is the prep...My guys hate that mainly when they are in the hosp. and the cute nurses have to do it....There goes any pride they might have....But they survive... Best of luck... Luanne Ty's mom
Guest guest
I found this at the Hopkins web site. A little interesting bit of information for anyone that wants to check out the URL. http://www.intelihealth.com/enews?246074 Things are pretty calm here. ERCP and Colonoscopy on the 26th. Going to be fun trying to explain the latter to . Marcy
Guest guest
Marcy, I'm looking at some old posts. When was diagnosed. From Peg's poll (or at least the copy that I'm looking at) it doesn't show a diagnosed date. Has done an ERCP before? How did his one of the 26th come out? Hope all is well with you. Guest guest
I checked out this web site and read the article titled "Report Finds Wide Disparities Among Transplant Hospitals". The information appears to go along with the reported statistics that someone (Tim?) posted earlier showing the number of patients put on a given hospital's list btwn. 4/94 and 12/96, percentage of those still alive one year later, total # of patients waiting on list btwn 4/94 and 12/97, # that received tx w/in one yr., and % who died waiting. Does anyone know if the report referred to in this article is the same one that we read previously on this list? Information from -Hopkins I found this at the Hopkins web site.
