Guest guest
> What is ATEC > Cheers H I am running about 2 days behind at the moment. I am adding some from a post by Dana some time ago. Here is the link for the ATEC. It is meant to give you an idea of how a person " ranks " and is to be used to see if particular interventions are effective. It is not an exact text, but a relative on. http://www.autism.com/atec/ You get the numbers for the score by answering questions about your child, then the test will " score " your child and give you the results in about a minute or less. Then either it automatically takes you to a screen, or you can go here: http://www.autism.com/atec/report1.html And see how your child falls on the range. The test is meant to track your child's progress over time tho, and not to compare him/her with others. The actual scoring goes from 0 to 180. A typical child will generally score in the 0-9 centile, which would be a raw score of between 0-30. When I (Dana speaking here) did my son's baseline score about 2 years ago, it was 98. This is in the 80-89 centile, or one level below the most severe. I did his score a few months ago, which was about 20 months gfcf and other interventions, and about 2 weeks after starting enzymes. It was 26, which is in the 0-10 centile, or basically " typical " .
