Guest guest
Hi Dr JM, I read recently that Amy Yasko said that she had a little concern about LDN because naltroxene is supposedly not advised if schizophrenia is present (per the product info). Her point was that she thinks in some ASD kids, there is a family history of schizophrenia and bipolar illness. THis was interesting to me as my uncle was schizophrenic and my mom is bi- polar (and my son is unvaccinated...so maybe this explains part of the genetic link?) I was going to start LDN on my son, as he has low NK cells, possible lyme, etc...but now I'm wondering if he would not be a good candidate. I myself often have the opposite reaction to certain herbs, supplements etc (valerian makes me crazed and hyper, as does melatonin), and I've thought that maybe it was related to my " wiring. " And so, I wonder about my son... Thanks for any insight! Jill
