Yes, I also mimic my trigger sounds. It is so much a part of this 4S thing for

me that I believe it takes lest than a nanosecond between hearing the offending

sound and my immediate mimicing of it.

how real and authentic this is as disorder. It's kind of like how in real life

crime cases, they won't reveal certain details to the public so that when people

crank call with information or confessions, they can weed out the fakes because

they didn't know to include key info that only people with real information

would know. Don't you just hate when you try to explain to someone how sounds

irriate you and they say 'oh yeah, gum smacking annoys me too. it annoys

everyone' and they think they're one of you or they dismiss you b/c they think

they know what you mean.

anyone outside of a real 4s person would think to say. Yes, that insane urge to

mimic can be so incredibly overpowering for me. mimicing gets me through

situations sometimes, especially with sniffers in class.

people who get annoyed at sounds. We all have these subtle, little reactions
