We're not saying you can't do it, what we're saying is it's not a

good idea. If you do end up losing that last 20lbs, I guarantee you

that at 10-15lbs of it is going to be muscle. What will that

accomplish? That's the stuff you need to burn the flubber. When it

comes to losing weight people probably do lose a pound or two of

muscle here or there (more so with the pro's who get down to 3%-5%

for competitions), but come on dude you're doing it on purpose. Scale

weight doesn't mean crap. About a year ago I met up with one of my

high school teachers and he complimented me on how I leaned up. He

was amazed to hear I was actually heavier (225lbs at the time, and in

high school I was around 205lbs).

A lot of us know how you feel. Personally I was embarassed at how fat

I was at my absolute fattiest. I had a 46 inch waist at one time.

That's about 30.50% or more of fat. My waist is about 33inches now

and last time I checked I'm arouind 13%bf and even though I want to

lose some more vanity weight, I feel pretty damn good about myself.

It would have been great to lose the fat quickly, but it wouldn't

have accomplished anything.

Oh yeah, I'm going to guess that you're using the treadmill for

cardio too, and at your weight, fitness level, not to mention the

level of intensity is going to end up destroying your knees and

shins. You may actually end up overtraining/getting hurt and that'll

hinder your progress more than how you're hindering it already. Your

shins and knees are probably in pain already. Don't be stupid, you're

better than that.

As previously stated, muscle gain and weight loss isn't from the

effort of working out, it's from taking in good nutrious food to help

your body grow healthy and energetic.

Make these last 3 weeks the most amazing workouts of your life. Go to

the gym for quality workouts, eat some high quality food, and best of

all get some high quality rest. You'll be surprised on how good

you'll look from following the " Quality is better than quantity "

advice in the relms of exercise.

Good luck daddio, and please play it smart.
