How do we get our memories back? For me, my memories have begun to

come back after I stopped allowing nada to abuse me. I had to go no

contact. I have experienced more growth and healing during the last

3.5 years of no contact than any other time in my life. And one

surprising thing that happened was that I am starting to remember

other parts of my life - and some of them are good memories.

When I first started therapy with my last therapist, I often talked

about my lack of memories. She explained to me that what I did

remember was indicative of what my life was life, even though there

were not alot of memories. (And most of what I remembered was bad

stuff, too.)

Hope this helps,

Sylvia

Janie,

I think Bunny's point was that she had a brain cramp and when she

saw " BD party, " her brain said " Borderline Disorder party " instead

of " Birth Day Party, " and she couldn't figure out why anyone would

throw a " Borderline Disorder party. "

She was just sharing her funny little brain cramp with us. ;-D

(Speaking of which, all of us KOs should have a big virtual

Borderline Disorder party to celebrate knowing that we can thrive!!)

If it makes bunny feel any better I was trying to figure out why she was having

or not haveing a Boarderline Disorder Party also. I was having a (I have a

Staph infection and I am on Vicadon moment)

Angel: I hope that you do not feel that we were making light of your

situation. I have noticed that many of us KO's have an odd sense of humore. It

is how we cope! I know that it must hurt for her to dangle all the money in

your face, when all you want is her love.

I am the one that questioned Bunny's blonde moment because I didn't understand

what she meant?????

Yes I think we do have strange senses of humor, I can be very sarcastic. Of

course that could be the English in me too.

My mother and I were going through old papers again on Wed. and we came across

an envelope with medical bills in it supposedly for my dad, and I was looking at

a hospital bill and couldn't figure out what procedure it was for my dad, when

all of a sudden I saw " vaginal hysterectomy and tubal removal " we laughed so

hard we almost feel off our chairs. I even chocked. This of course was for my

mother not my father. How it got in an envelope with my dad's stuff??????
