Dear Peg,

Jacquelyn and her family will be in my prayers. I don't really know

Jacquelyn since it seems she has not been well since I joined the group and

really hasn't posted too often. She and her family must really be going

through hell (excuse my language). Its strange, even though I barely know

her, here I am with tears in my eyes just thinking about it. She will

definately be in my thoughts and prayers.

Is this problem she is having a complication of the transplant? It seems

horrible to have gone through the tx and think that you are given a " fresh'

start only to have other problems come up. You would think th tx would be

the worst of it. Also, I have never heard of a floating tumor, if she does

have one, can they find it and remove it?

Dawn.

My thoughts and prayers are with Jacquelyn and her family. It's so hard to

understand how and why someone so young has to go through so much....I so

admire her strength. Thanks for keeping us informed.

Jacquelyn

Jacquelyn has been admitted to the Baylor hospital. She has 2 collapsed

arteries her superior and inferior - behind her liver. They will be

doing surgery on Thursday morning to try to make artificial arteries.

This is a far more serious surgery than the tx. The tx doctor that will

be doing it is one of very few doctors that can do it and he's only done

3. They also suspect and are testing for carcinoid syndrom (a floatng

maglignoid tumor).

She broke down when she asked me to pray for her children since she

won't be able to be home for Christmas.

She also asked for special prayer that she won't need a respirator or

the tube that goes down her throat. I have her number at the hospital

and her home address. But most of all she needs your prayers and please

pray for Luke and the kids.

I'll keep you all posted as to what is happening because I'll be calling

her periodically.

Peg

Dawn,

I can't answer your questions right now because I just don't know the answers.

Hopefully we will get some. Just pray for her and her family they are

incredible people - kind, loving, strong in faith - and when she is better you

will be able to get to know and love her as I do.

Do you have the address for Baylor Hospital? I wish to send a card of

support. I cried after reading this message. Jacquelyn has been a beacon of

courage, strength, and hope. She and her familly will be in my prayers for

she represents the true meaning of Christmas.
