Guest guest
I can not begin to thank you all for your post. It was so uplifting to hear from the many who responded. I have Dr. JM's book and is having further testing...CDSA 2.0 (Great Smokies), Full Organinc Acid Test Profile and Kryptopyrrole (Great Plains Lab) and bloodwork at our local lab. This is per all the DAN doctor, that we see right now. We didn't know about the DDI hair test when we met with the DAN doctor originally and when we retest, we will surely use them. Once the Primal Defense are gone, we will use Klaire's Ther-biotics and I have been taking notes from Dr. JM's book for and the twins. Unfortunately, some of the testing we have no choice in when it comes to which lab it goes to, as we were told that we needed a requisition. I admit, I am slow to learn as there is so much information to sift through. I am still figuring out how and when to give what/when if that makes any sense. It is truly amazing that for many of the parents that these boards are all that they have. My good friend, n, has been watching out for our children and has sent me loads of post pertaining to milk supplements/alternatives. Are these OK for my 14 month old twins? They are on Nutramigen and are also taking the powdered form of Nystatin. With all of the reading I have been doing this can not be good as it has a bunch of things that I can not pronounce nor do I know what they are. This infant formula also contains soy and the milk protein ONLY is broken down. We were told to give Nystatin with applesauce but again according to what I have read " apples and apple products " are not supposed to be in a " Yeast free diet " when using Nystatin. This is why we need the help of this group. We have 2 babies with food sensory issues who are still on bottles and eating Stage 2 baby food. I am starting to make my own baby food. They did not like the butternut squash though and my husband thinks that it was due to the consistency. I went and bought a blender. I will do a seperate post on them but I didn't want to overwhelm everyone with even more especially since my post pertaining to my daughter. Again, THANK YOU for responding and for not getting mad at me for re- posting. I am extremely appreciative.
Guest guest
Don't know that I would give up the Primal Defense probiotic. It is the only one that works for our son. And I give him a full table spoon full, twice a day of the powdered. Also, you should highly consider doing the quintette, at least do the MB12 injections with the folinic acid. With the sincerest of thanks and apologies I can not begin to thank you all for your post. It was so uplifting to hear from the many who responded. Guest guest
Hey there - We use Neocate formula. It is very expensive but is free of soy, whey, etc. Though, it has corn syrup solids (weve been advised to add similase enzymes.. though haven't started this yet). Everything is a trade off. Best of luck, Sally > I can not begin to thank you all for your post. It was so uplifting > to hear from the many who responded.
