Guest guest
I had a beagle for twelve years. " Susie " used to BARK at PB when she went into a screaming fit. All the dogs started grr-ing at her toward the end. when she came home after work they'd bark as if it was stranger then they just ignored her. They wouldnt have anything to do with her. They KNOW shes crazy. PB was transplanting flowers outside one day. " Susie " went out and thought she was playing so started to dig and nose in the flowerbed. PB just whapped her HARD and she came running in to me. Wasn't but a day later in one of her fits PB went out and jerked up every plant in the garden including the daisies. I have never forgotten my dear Susie or the unconditional love and understanding between us. She would sit beside me and snuggle when ever i was upset over PB's abuse and nasty phone calls during the divorce period. It was a terrible loss when Sue passed away. But she lived forever in my heart. Today i am heavily involved in Beagle rescue, of course. http://www.geocities.com/lonestarbeaglerescue/ You never ever forget a kindness no matter the species.
