Guest guest
Dear , You said: <<Has anyone experienced bouts of anxiety, depression as a result of Ecstasy use? I experienced debilitating anxiety for the first time in my life after stupidly experimenting with this drug. I was put on Paxil, which helped normalize my life. I have always known that my use of the drug (which was brief, but excessive)made me more susceptible to anxiety through some chemical, physical brain damage. There is a family history of pychiatric disorders, my brother has schizophrenia. I never had any psychiatric problems prior.>> ** So, how are you doing now? Are you still taking Paxol, in the process of reducing it, or totally off it? Regards,
Guest guest
I had a friend who over one weekend partied to hard using ecstasy and staying up without sleep for two days. She had never had any history of panic or anxiety. The following week she suffered severe anxiety and panic attacks, and was also put on Paxil and later also Wellbutrin. She thinks that it helps her, I think it changes her. It only seems normal that the MDMA would drain certain chemicals in your brain, seems like it would make sense to heal this with nutritional supplements not implement a new chemical that will also alter the brains chemistry. I hope that you feel better. Dealing with this friend when she was going through this was the only time in my life that I felt that the anxiety that I get actually could help somebody else. She had no idea what was wrong with her and was completely terrified for over a week. After many long walks and relaxation techniques and many times of taking her to the doctor letting her know that she wasnt going to die. She started to see a light at the end of the tunnel. I felt fortunate to be there for her. spgny wrote: Has anyone experienced bouts of anxiety, depression as a result of Ecstasy use?
