Guest guest
I am new to this site. I am looking for information on Zoloft withdrawal. I have been on 200 mg for 5 years. I am 40 and was prescribed Zoloft for pms. I had a total hysterectomy 2 years ago. I have tried to wean off the meds at least 10 times with no success. I have all of the horrible symtoms that are described on this site. My doctor says that Zoloft is not addictive and that I am having panic attacks from thinking that I will have withdrawal if I try to get off of it. If that makes any sense at all. He says that I will have to take it for the rest of my life and that I have a chemical imbalance that needs the meds. I do feel okay now, but I am very tired all of the time. I also feel like an addict. I have never been dependent on anything in my life till now. The other thing I wanted to know about is the supplements I can take. The doctor also says I shouldn't take those. I think he is in with the Pharmaceutical Companies and is just a pill pusher. He never validates the withdrawal symptoms at all. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thank You, gbyrd
