Phreesia revisited

Yes ,My front desk person became dramatically more relaxed after this, because  when we enter the balance she is not doing the prodding...Its working well...Now I am also dreaming of phreesia having a web portal for patients...

 

So, overall you like it right Sangeetha?  I totally agree with you about the eligibility etc... I just don't want to have an enormous surprise on credit card charges.

But here is why it is worth it

-My Billing service's  eligibility  verigfication  was $50/month- replaces dollar for dollar by phreesia's e and b verification

- and this is previsit, without any practice staff data entry...

-credit card is more expensive, but the whole User experience decreases data entry, and multiple clicks , that It pays for itself in productivity gains......

Now all I need is for Phreesia to talk to Kareo  which is in the " near future " ..

For me, it is free set up ( I got a coupon), $50 month only if I have less than $1500 a month in credit card charges, and then they charge me $1 per $25 in charges, so like $1 for charges $1-25, $2 for 25-50 etc... Seems like that could REALLY add up. Anyone being charged that way? I wonder if it is negotiable. Kris

 

 

Actually the past-family-social history from IMH is pertinent only to that day's problem so I've been sticking enbloc into the HPI section of ACOtherwise if you import it it used to wipe the old family history, medical history social history, which I find useful to carry over for all visits.So its really only a cut and paste of 2 pieces  -  HPI with pertinent family history-SH - past medical history and then ROS

Yes, the PDF is importable -- but I want the medical history to go into the appropriate " space " in Amazing Charts automatically -- Family History into the Family History section of the encounter, etc.  And it doesn't do that.

Begging you pardon but if it is a PDF is that not a semi-universal form of " E " that you should be able to literally save a copy to any file you want including to a third party program like FAP or directly search it out via the Imported Items Import Search Feature? Do you know where these PDF's are saved on your drive or system? It would seem to me you should be able to open the Imported Section of the patient's target chart, search and import it as a normal PDF... Perhaps I am missing something here but it sure seems workable to me....

The credit card fee is 4%.  When I signed up last Spring, there was a one-time $50 set-up charge, which was waived because I batted my eyelashes and begged sweetly.  Now I think they charge an annual fee of $50, and if you fall below a certain amount of credit charges, there is a monthly fee.  I don't know the monthly minimum -- it hasn't been applied to me.  The Phreesia pads (as many as you need for the size of your office), the router, and the credit card swipers are all provided free of charge.  So far, my patients really like it.

 

One disadvantage, Lynn, is that the medical history part of Phreesia doesn't interface with AC at this point, so I have to cut and paste from the PDF that's created, or retype the info into AC.  This wouldn't be a problem for you, since you use Instant Medical History anyway.  The demographic and insurance portion hadn't interfaced either until the new AC beta version 5.1.6 was released.  I just had my set-up phone call yesterday -- still some bugs to work out, but confidence is high!!  I'm really hoping this helps me avoid hiring someone at my front desk.
