Guest guest
Patti, I use this preservation all the time for my lotions and creams, and I have never smelled anything like you are describing. I also buy my Liquipar Optima from TBG...how long have you had this in your inventory? Possibly it has taken on this odor because of age...of course I do not have any idea what the shelf life is for this. I have found from TBG to be wonderful to work with have you spoken to her about this problem? Be Blessed, Debbie :~) Create in me a Clean Heart, O God, and renew a right spirit in me. Guest guest
I think it is just a slight smell that is only noticeable to some people ..... most people can't smell it.... but I can tell it is there ... it's not a " bad " smell.... just different than lotion without it... I can smell the phenonip and liquipar both. It doesn't smell like beer but there's definitely a smell there.I have thought about switching to germall or germaben. Other names for Phenoxyethanol include: 2-Phenoxy-Ethanol Ethylene Glycol Monophenyl Ether 2-Hydroxyethyl Phenyl Ether 2-Phenoxyethanol (RIFM) 2-Phenoxyethanol 2-Phenoxyethyl Alcohol Phenoxytol Maurice -------------------------------------------------------- Maurice O.
