Guest guest
, you are my inspiration! Congrats to you on your progress!!! I too work 60+ hour weeks, but I have the " luxury " of only 2 hours a day on the road! However, I'm on call 24/7/365, so the cell phone is always ringing with a crisis at the most inopportune time. My previous medical history, and I do have one, is not my cross to bear in my quest for fitness.... it's one more reason to spur me on. I live alone, and while Jas might see only positive in that I can stock my refrigerator as I please, there is a negative side... I have no family... I have no " loved ones " to provide positive support and encouragement. It all has to come from within, or from the kindness of strangers. :-) One person's blessing is another's curse, I suppose. Rock on, kind strangers! > > How many challenges have you done and completed and how much have you lost.? Do you suffer from nerve damage at all. I mean My situation is different than most here. I lost 100%, got to 7% body fat. Then became seriously ill. I am trying to get it back. However, I feel some talk down to me and others. > > > > Andy had a very good point though. Guest guest
You have done great losing 26 lbs in 14 weeks in case I haven't already told you! I remember reading that earlier. People will come up with whatever excuse they can to justify whatever problem they are having. This is probably a pretty normal human response for all of us, but in the end we still have to take personal responsibility for our decisions and resolve to do better in the future. If we don't want to do that, that's our choice too. There are times in our lives when we fail even though we are trying to succeed. If someone isn't willing to accept responsibility for their lack of successes (I'm not quite sure the word here), I don't think our advice is going to be of any use to them. I'm not sure why anyone would even participate in an online support group unless they want the opinions of others. It amazes me what some people are doing and they still manage to follow the program. I think we should look at these people as good examples if it applies to our own situation. These people make you realize that it is possible to follow BFL even with everything going on in their lives. You have to want to change. No one expects you to immediately be perfect, but at least think about the advice. I do hope Jas is serious about wanting to change. If he has lost 100 lbs and is 7% bodyfat or maybe this was sometime in the past, he knows what it takes to get there. I wouldn't think he would let a few little teeny obstacles get in his way.
