Every heard of the " throat thing? " >> ** Yes, I've heard of the 'throat thing'. It's the autonomic nervous system (ANS) running amok. Just the stimulation of being around others is enough stress to set this off in you. Many people find inositol powder helpful with this. A minority of people find it too stimulating to take. The odds ar on your side that you could take it. I recommend Jarrow brand. I would begin with 1 gram and see howe it feels to me. Then I would step it up. It wouldn't be out of the ordinary to take 5-12 grams a day. BTW, I'm glad the mag helped. I think a few people here recommended it -- , Roz (?), and maybe some others. I just confirmed this was correct. BTWE, if you are taking any liver support products, stop. They hasten the drug through your body putting you in more withdrawal. I know you're concerned about akathisia but this can happen also when you discontinue too soon. In my experience (which you can ignore if you want;-)) it is better to go slowly off unless you are exhibiting something life-threatening. Akathisia appears more often when going off too quickly. BTW, I think what you may be concerned about is tardive dyskinesia, not akathisia. TD can often be avoided by lowering the dose. You are doing this. I think this might answer all your posts.
