Guest guest Posted January 29, 1999 Report Share Posted January 29, 1999 Just a little warning about Temovate and other corticosteroids, they can sometimes cause more harm than good. I was prescribed Temovate cream as a first course of treatment for my vulvar vestibulitis. Almost immediately, I had a significant increase in pain and redness. After a couple of days the pain was so bad, I had to stop using it. The worse part is it took me months (literally) to get back to the level of pain I was before I started using the cream. While some women report success with the corticosteroids, many women report that they are made worse by them. I just wanted to share that...
