Guest guest
I just found information on something called " mirror-touch synesthesia. " I've been trying for a while to write a post about it with links, but don't seem to be able to present it well and need to let it go. It is VERY interesting though, so... If you're interested, google these terms: mirror-neurons mirror-touch synesthesia (for instance, if a mirror-touch synesthete sees someone bump their head, the viewer feels the physical pain on their own head.) There are MANY scholarly articles and other publications on this topic, but not many on what crossed senses could be experienced with/from sound. Still, I do see possible correlations between Misophonia and synesthesia. It's possible when we hear particular sounds, the synesthesia causes us to cross experience them with particular emotions, or even unpleasant physical sensations.
