Guest guest
Reading your descriptions of your condition, i.e. not absorbing food and also feeling like you are passing out if you don't get glucose (waayyy condensing what you described). I'm getting a sense of 2 different problems. Are you losing weight & unable to gain? Or, do you feel more like it's hypoglycemia? I do know of a couple of people w/Lyme/CFS that have gone into extreme weight loss/emaciation and were on the verge of dying. (When someone has cancer and gets like that I think it's called cachexia?) One recovered with alternative care and I don't know what happened to #2. They both did amino acid IV's (FreAmin or Aminosyn) as part of their treatment protocol. It does sound like you've tried anything & everything, but I would still not waste my money on Mayo. Most allopathic docs will only consider 2 things - drugs or surgery.... If those are not the solutions then they can't help you. I do agree having the ph capsule test might at least give you some valuable info. You also talked about having to do enemas daily, then said you aren't constipated? Is it just lack of peristalis (sp)? I've heard of something like frozen gut (not exactly the right word) gut that doesn't work. Is that more what you mean? Good luck.... Kendra PS: I know of one gastro specialist that's written a book that recommends starting every day with a very large glass of salt water. He has a website and does phone consults too. I don't think he's an MD, but his protocol wasn't expensive either.... > Hey everyone, > > I think I'm going to head to Mayo for some help with digestion.
