Guest guest
HI! I have the same problem.. I just started Ap protocol and am doing Minocin MWF, and my doctor prescribed daily, but is letting me play around. I am concerned that I should be taking it every day (200 mgs). My goal now in week 3 is working up to 100 mgs once daily on MWF then up to 2oo if I tolerate the 100. Yet the " docs " all say daily, no pulsing. I would like some advice as well as it's quite confusing. Have they more info than Dr. Brown, or are they just close-minded? I am so pleased that I have obtained relief so quickly. I am on Minocin and relafen and have been almost pain-free for a couple of days. But I don't know how to continue. My intuition says less is always better due to Candida, resistance, etc. Could and Ethel address this issue. My dr. says I have early RA as my symptoms are mild and had none till December of 98, even though a positive RA test since 95. Thank you for your kind help. Guest guest
- I think playing around with your dosage is exactly what you're going to have to do. My doc prescribed 100mg 2x daily. Then I found this site and read about the pulsing. So I tried that, if for no other reason to save a good bit of money. In my case, it just didn't work. I require the full dosage to get what I need from it. You will just have to see what your own body does. It's great that you're on the AP so early in the course of the disease. I can't help but wonder if it's so early that you could slam those bugs by going every day and get yourself into full remission within reasonable time frame. I'm thinking a year or two at most. Being so early, you might not have to go as slow as some others because you might not herx. I think the herx rxn is the major reason why people have to pulse. A person can only handle so much toxin in their system making them hurt for so long before they have to cut back. Just a few thoughts. I'm sure others will have many more for you.
