Guest guest
In terms of brainstorming possible strategies; what do you think might have caused the reduced motility and may I suggest information on what increases motility. Consider the control of the motility and gastric cell production is the vagus nerve chiefly with complimentary activity from the sympathic nerves. Also add some lesser important effect from the foods you eat, like fats reduces motility. I googled " nerve supply to stomach " and second down the page open to gastroparesis which descibes the dx an tx from a medical perspective. Since you probably don't have diabetes, that would damage the vagus nerve pemanently, perhaps you have some entrapment to the vagus nerve below the jaw in front of the mastoid process with following a course between tight rigid muscles along the side of your neck (also google vagus nerve) a common finding with chronic lyme dis-ease This is temporary but could be adressed with gentle cross friction massage. I agree with your drug overuse presumption, Take care, Mark
