Biddy,

I have noticed just the last month since I have been on here that you really

seem to be more down. I can not believe that the doctors are treating you

like this ( even though I did have a bad experience) I pray that I get a

better doctor when I go next month - I am praying for you and your doctor,

like you said to get a conscience. Please don't give up, even if you are not

afraid to die. I know that you have family and friends that would love to see

you improve and have a better life (physically I mean) You are very special.

I enjoy talking with you, and relating to what you are going through ( at

least a little )

Talk with you soon, Love and Prayers

Vicki

Hi Vicki!

Thanks for the e-mail. I haven't said anything one way or another about

the symptoms in the last 2 days because I am afraid to jinx it, but here

goes -- I have not had any pain, nausea, the arthritis stuff -- anything!!!!

I am so very excited and blessed. It is times like these that I feel as

if I am on my way to recovery!!! One never knows -- since this disease makes

no sense at all, symptoms, etc.

You know, we don't know hardly anything about this disease and of

course, the docs don't either. It may be that one day we will wake up and

bingo! the disease is gone!

I feel like that has happened to me. Now if I could lose this huge mass

in my front (my fat stomach), everything would be perfect!!!

I used to have these days so often and within the last year they haven't

come along so often -- actually no good days at all. I feel so good and

blessed. I am so blessed to have " friends " like you -- you and others have

made this thing so much better to handle!

Actually Vicki, I used to be upbeat all of the time and I think that

just might return. Heck, I might even be able to do my column again! If

there were anyone near me with this disease I could help them. However, as

far as I know, there are no others!

By the way, I have posted forever for someone to post if they are being

treated at Duke University. No one has. See we are missing so many people. I

do wish there was someway we could get in touch with these people and lead

them to this fantastic site -- and all because of !

Hugs,

Biddy

Biddy,

You must feel like my mother did in December when she wrote in

my baby book " finally had a good day. " (I was born in

April). I'm sure all the parents can sympathize with enduring 8

months of a difficult baby on top of caring for 2 and 4 year

olds.

I know that a lot of people have been praying for you and I see that God has

answer our prayers. I hope that you continue to have good days (a lot of

them) it make the bad days easier to handle.

I am so happy for you, I can see the smile on your face again.

Thinking of you,

Love,

Vicki

Hi :)

I was concerned about Biddy too so I emailed her directly and she wrote back.

She said she had been quite ill for the last few weeks but is not giving up

" the fight " . We have been corresponding a bit and she seems to be ok. Maybe

she will come back to the list soon. I told her we missed her and her

emails. I got her email address off the egroups list for our group, only it

says " Santo " and it's really " Santon " .

Take Care,
