Guest guest
Peg.. AIH...Auto-immune Hep. This attacks the actual liver causing inflammation....PSC attacks the bile ducts. He has both...Lucky him..... Luanne Ty's mom
Guest guest
would AIH show up on an ERCP? I have " chronic hepatitis " meaning chronic inflammation of the liver. I have always wondered if I actually have AIH instead of PSC because of the chronic inflammation... but the ERCP confirmed the PSC. How can they tell if you have AIH? Would a blood test show it? Although I really do not want to have yet ANOTHER liver disease, I do wonder what causes my liver to be inflammed. Love,
Guest guest
Dear , Hello there!!! I sure do hope that you are feeling 100% by now!!! All I can say to your response is that my liver was ALWAYS inflammed on all of my ERCPs. If the docs are saying it's PSC....it probably unfortunately is. But Sweetie, we are all in this together...I praise the Lord that we all have each other to ask questions and lean on!! Remember that I'm always praying for you!! Love you, Jacquelyn

Guest guest
Jacquelyn, I do definately have PSC. It was diagnosed by two different liver pathologists when I had my liver wedge biopsy done, and it was confirmed with the ERCP.
