Guest guest
Dear Friends, A member, TDBEARANGL, Trish, who had just recently joined our group, with rsd, cps, and numerous other phyical prob. was hosp. last week. The morphine pump she had implanted had grown a tumor around her spine. The 8 hr. operation lasted 12 and half. She was suposed to be okay. Shes' not. She is paralized from the waist down. She asked me to write to the groups she belonged to, if anyone wants her address to send her cards/flowers, etc. she would welcome them with open arms. This is one of our own who is down. Like me, trish didn't listen to the drs. when told to rest, she continued her activities. We both cried alot today, with her begging me to listen to the drs. (my drs want to hosp. me for a week for a series of nerve blocks and to get some rest. I refused so far, but i see the nero again on monday.) Trish always tried to be " supermom " like me. Now she may never walk again. She has extreme pain in her right leg. A good sign. She will be moved to a rehab hosp. early next week, in hopes of walking again. Dr.s are not optimistic. Please, if you know trish, or even if you don't, send her a card. Give her something to hold on to during thenext few months. She sends her love to everyone and urges everyone to rest, realize your limitations, because if you don't, you may end up like her. She has given me permission to release her address to anyone who requests it. If you want it, her husband greg will bring the cards, letters, etc. to her each day. My email is NORCO20 @ aol.com. I'll give anyone her address. She needs encouragement. She needs to know we all love her. As for me, Thank God i'm walking. Thank God i'm alive. Don't take anything for granted anymore because tommrow you may not have it. With much love, ann e
