Hi Mark,

I'm very interested in your personal opinion about the TrueRife F117 unit. GSR (galvanic skin response) is the recognized name for the bodily mechanism, which is based on the body's meridians, as in TCM, acupunture, etc. These are the "electronic pathways" in the body that have been known since ancient times. I am no expert on that subject, as I'm still in the primary research stages of learning about it, and there's alot to know. But, EDS, electrodermal screening devices, of which there are many on the market now, are being used by practitioners, with varying rates of success to diagnose conditions, basically utilizing GSR.

TrueRife has their own name for GSR - they reverse the letters, and call their unit a GRS "galvanic resonant scanner". Why, I don't understand, as their unit is utilizing the same GSR (galvanic skin response) body mechanism, which is the recognized term in the industry. It appears from their website, that their GRS unit works by measuring responses via the skin, the same as all EDS units do.

My belief is that because the hardware of the EDS units varies, and the software program, which needs to associate a GSR response with a bodily condition, also varies, there is a very wide discrepancy of efficacy associated with these units. From what I've heard from people who've tried EDS, it's very much dependent upon the practitioner, as well. There are so many variables. And these EDS units, individually, are sometimes pricey, themselves. That's why, when TrueRife adds in one of these types of units to their package deal, I'm wondering just how effective it is, in comparison to stand alone EDS units, which sell for more than the whole F117 package. As you say, you did not think that the "GRS" unit sold by TrueRife was working for you. Is that right?

What about the other components of your package? Which package deal did you get? TrueRife seems to add in the kitchen sink. It would be great if all the suff worked, but just adding in items, other than those directly associated with the rife unit proper (amp, hand and foot contacts, etc,), might be overkill, as excellence of each mechanism may suffer. Quantity does not necessarily equal quality. TrueRife also has a much stronger than average promotional aspect to their product on their webpage. I'm not sure what to make of that.

You say you've been using the F117 for two years. How much improvement, overall, have you had? Many people are using various rife-type devices, and getting some improvement (such as with the EMEM), but no remission from those units by themselves. The coil and the GB4000 (with antimicrobials) have been proven to take Lyme sufferers all the way. The Bare Plasma II machine recently has a good report on this group list. As for other rife-type devices, we have had reports on them in the past, such as the Perl machine, but I have not heard of remission with the use of that unit. Perhaps someone else has that info. I have personally spoken with someone over the phone, who had the Perl machine plus extras (total cost $10,000), and that individual was not getting the results he sought. That was feedback from just one person, though.

Hi Mark,Thanks for sharing your experiences. I am impressed with the GRS scanner which measures galvanic skin response and determines if a particular frequency is a hit, and then saves it into a file of custom frequencies.. I would think this device would save running a lot of unnecessary frequencies.
