Guest guest
Hi Fabricia, I have never heard of a child with autism without some kind of eating problem. It seems to go with the syndrome. My son is 20 now and he eats pretty normally (it seems to be something they outgrow) but he still doesn't eat the variety of foods that he needs. Especially fruits and vegetables. The solution that I found is a product called Juice Plus+. It is 17 different fruits and vegetable and 2 grains that are organic, have been vine ripened, juiced, dried and put into capsule form for adults and chewables or gummies for kids. They contain tens of thousand of nutrients and are gluten, casein and dairy free, so if you do the diet, it won't interfere. Guest guest
Dear picky eater: I would respond the same way. My son ate only pasta and fries. We tried so many eating programs. I made sure since he drank chocolate milk...I gave him an Ensure or high protein/vitamin drink for nutrition. I took him to many nutrition specialist and they told me not to worry. Around 8 and 9 yrs old,,,he started trying new items on his own at the school cafeteria. Every day was a shock to learn what he was eating. He did it on his own and I learned not to worry as much. Best wishes.
