Guest guest Posted July 7, 2011 Report Share Posted July 7, 2011 I am pleased to say that my 2nd spinal epidural went without a hitch. The doc had ordered a single dose of valium for me to take an hour before my injection to help with the vaso-vagal nerve reaction and I tanked up on lot s of water today and yesterday. The 1st one helped so much, but the last few days my pain has been slowly returning, so hoping this 2nd one will help. I go back for a 3rd in 6 wks. Went to see my Still's doc yesterday, said I was doing good but my hemachromatosis is causing my iron to be too high again, so they scheduled a phlebotomy for next week. Not Still's related, but he is a hematologist, too. So, no complaints from me today, just grateful my ESI went well.
