I totally agree with the reduced blood flow idea. I was actually given a

donut cushion in the hospital, but I found it uncomfortable to sit on for

very long because my legs would feel like they weren't getting any

circulation. I actually found a regular, soft pillow more comfortable (but

nothing is as comfortable as just not sitting:)! Thanks for the

clarification!

Daina,

No, the gel cushion is not a donut shape. They are usually square. They

are very comfortable, and really take the pressure off the necessary areas.

No, the gel cushion is not a donut shape. They are usually square. They

are very comfortable, and really take the pressure off the necessary areas.

Daina,

I don't know of any gel cusions that are in the donut shape. They are

usually square cushions. There is no opening in the middle.
