Guest guest
Sorry to disagree with you,but I was granted disability under Stills Disease,my hubby who works for a law firm, had one of their attys. take my case and not only was it granted, but my atty. was allowed to represent me in court.I have no idea if the state you live in has anything to do with it,but I live in Michigan.Good Luck,Elly
Guest guest
Oh Heidi, I couldn't be happier for you! Mine this last time went pretty much the same way. Almost four years and going before the judge, even though I had been on it since diagnoses at 19 two times previously. Anyway, they lawyers don't necessarily get 5 thousand but rather a certain percentage that is set. I think it's around 20%. They cannot charge over whatever that limit is. Some peoples cases don't take that long and I'm sorry yours and mine did, but so happy for you that this is your wonderful day. Hooray for you!!! Perhaps you can relax some now, knowing that although not much, it will help you live.
