I actually sold my home so noone could live with me it had gotten to that point. The withdrawls were bad and the pain was bad but nothing hurt more then the lack of respect and the lack of apology. Best to all of you.

They generally know of better options for pain control, and are more willing to prescribe larger doses of opiods if that is what they decide to stick with. There are dedicated pain clinics now (not all are fronts for marijuana sellers) that would be a good place to find one, or even check the yellow pages, where they split out different medical specialties. In the meantime, I find that splitting the pills and taking 1/2 every 2 hours is a better pain control than taking 1 every 4 hours. You may also find that you can stretch your pills better that way - saving 1/2 once or twice a day for the first 3 weeks would get you into the 4th week with sufficient pills to avoid the low-dose cycle. Guest guest
I'm worried about you. I hope you have gotten some help. I wish I lived near you I would do something to help. I could not do what you are doing. I will fight with my doctor if I was low on mine. I have been taking them way too many years now. I won't run out, no matter what. I am taking 6 a day, and have taken less when I had to, but not ever as low as 1 or 1 1/2. You have to tell him what happened and they would make it right. How horrible this must be. I would change doctors or go to ER for help. Oh, I feel for you. Poor thing. hugs..
