It is a 20 hour drive, so we haven't seen him since he was placed last May. We are going to see him Oct. 9th and I am soooo excited, and yet very unsure at the same time. Things were so hard before he left, but I love him so much and I battle wanting him to come home now (knowing it isn't the best for him or anyone else in the family).

There are several of us here on this group who have children/grandchildren with PDD, autism or other related disorders. I live with my 9 year old granddaughter who has Asperger's. She's doing very well now but things were pretty rough for her a few years ago.
