Guest guest
Ugh... i wish I could throw up. Wanted to know about stomach issues with those of us with Still's. I know our meds are often the culprit, but I have also read that gastroparesis is common in ppl with autoimmune disorders. I have bouts where it seems that the food has been sitting in my stomach all night, pain in upper stomach, burping (and, alarmingly, still " tasting " what I had for dinner the night previous) and over all just feeling crummy. I am nauseated and the smell of food is making me worse. I swear, it's almost like morning sickness, lol.... no chance of that for me! So, from what I have read this issue is caused by a defective Vagus nerve. And I have had this before. Just wondering if anyone else thinks this is familiar. Just wish the food in my tummy from yesterday would continue south, lol.... sure don't wanna see it again and it sure is uncomfortable just sitting there in my stomach. Hope all is well, my whole body hurts but the meds are helping me some. Take care, Gail (KY)
