Guest guest
Docs havent been back in tonight, but i didn't have my ct until after 7 pm. The tech told me that the scan would be uploaded in minutes for the docs to see, but i am sure they will be back in the morning. Anyway, I think they are checking my cortisol level in the am, but the stomach doc said my endo scope only showed a tiny ucler and inflammation, and he told Dan & my parents that what he saw would not be what was causing my amount of pain. But he did mention that Still's can cause the spleen to be enlarged and the ct would show if it was pressing on my stomach. I asked if my adrenal glands could be fatigued b/c of all the steroid use in the past, he is checking into this. Now, they let me eat a little something, no raw veggies. So i had someone go to the cafeteria and get me a plain grilled chicken sandwich. I had a few bites and my stomach began to hurt, so I stopped. Have already lost weight, this keeps up, will lose more...food seems to lay in my stomach too long, i thought constipation was bad until I had gastroparesis. Not comfortable at all. praying the ct scan doesn't show anything serious requiring surgery. My bp was up to 116/63 when i came back to the room, it has been 94/48 and around there, so that's an improvemnt. Hoping to go home soon, suck being in the hospital , and not being able to eat, and not being able to be with my family. Take care, will update.
