Guest guest
Hi all; GARY Here; Have not posted much as of late due to not much change in my health. Now I have a change in my health. Went to the hosp. 2 months ago at 4 AM with bad stomach pain so my daughter called 911 and they rushed me to the hospital. I was having a very low blood sugar and was not able to think streight and found out I had Diabetes. Now I have my Failed Back Syndrom with Stills and Diabetes to deal with. Seen my doctor yesterday and now I can add another illness, my bone scan showed very bad Osteoporosis in my left hip joint and my left wrest and forearm .. I had already had bad RA in my hip's and now they said the Osteoporosis is very bad in the hip and arm. I am into Stills now for 3 1/2 years . I was taking Alendranate for Ost for a year and still got it. My Rummi said I might need a annual shot for Ost and the shot last a year. Getting more blood test and will find out if I get the shot or not. She is a contract doctor with the VA and said the VA might not give me the shot because it " Cost To Much " . Now I put my life on the line for this nation during the Vietnam War and now they say I am not worthy of medical benifits. I quilify for all medical benifits due to the fact that I have a Disability from serving in the militery. If my doctor ask for me to get the shot and they say no, I will raise more Hell than they have every seen. I am going to call Kathleen Brown, our nurse, for some info about my Ost...... Thanks for listening;; GARY
Guest guest
,I'm very sorry that your Osteoperosis has advanced so fast and I totally agree with you about the VA paying for any and all benefits regardless of them being from the war or not. Our service persons serve whether or not there is danger involved with their health and this government I believe should take care of our citizens that serve whether or not the war causes the injuries. Even if a citizen does not serve or is not able. We help the rest of the world, I think we should always make a way to help our own as well. Just my thoughts. The best of luck with your endevour to get the shot and slow down the processes of joint destruction. From: proangler56@... Subject: -Osteoporosis Hi all; GARY Here; ..
