Guest guest
Hey, all, first let me thank the foundation for the get well card, cheered me right up! I got out of the hospital last thursday, seeing the doc for follow up tomorrow to get results of biopsies of my stomach and my ct scan. Although overall I feel stronger, my stomach is still giving me issues. The gastro doc did not come in and see me before the admitting doc let me go home, so I went home with no stomach meds. I called their office that same afternoon and left a mssg. Went by there the next day was told I would get a call monday. call never came. So i went by the hospital to get all my records and will proceed to find a new gastro doc. Will probably have to go to Louisville, since there are only two in my town, and the other choice has the " God complex " and I refuse to see someone like that. My admitting doc feels that the inflammation they saw in my small intestines may be due to autoimmune response with the Still's. so, my hem/onc doc appt is tomorrow and I know he will give me something for my stomach. Afraid I will lose even more weight if they don't! Just wanted to update, will post what my findings were after I find out. Love to all, Gail
Guest guest
I'm sorry Gail that you've had to endure even more pain than was necessary because of the incompetance of others. Hopefully you will find a better doctor and get more of the help you deserve. I'm happy to see you're being your own medical advocate and taking charge. Thank you as well for letting us know how all is going so we don't worry.Much love sister, From: glmrphy@... Guest guest
Hey Gail, I am glad you are out of the hospital. I am sorry that your stomach is still messing up on you. My stomach is messing up on me as well. I am still having trouble with nausea and food. It is frustrating but I am trying to stay strong. Hugs and blessings, P Corpus Christi, Tx
