Tolerant of your own children?

Yes, my son (my only child) is the only one that can chew gum or eat and I don't even notice. But I DO know that he doesn't POP or CRACK gum. Also, I think my dog crunching is cute.

However...there was a couple of teenage years, not long ago, where we were fighting because he was on the Internet a lot and not doing homework at all. His keyboard typing drove me absolutely crazy and I would explode.
