Guest guest
My husband had break down 2o years ago. His mom said drugs and exercise for f our months pulled him out of it. Then he quit taking meds. We have been married 18 years. He was kind of slow and steady and had horrible time making decisions and a little depressed daily. But could smile and go to work and be pretty normal. I have been sick 6 years. MY daughter 2 years. We decided to move 4 months ago to different state where there is a doctor to help me and my daugher. He felt uncomfortable moving but knew it had to be done. IT through him out of his comfort zone. He started crying and hallucinating as soon as we got here. Also the stress of a new job. He is a born again christian and thought God was punishing him. Gave away everything that gave himself pleasure and started seeing the mark of the beast in his head. Couldn't sleep. Mind racing all the time. He became suicidal and started saying things " Like if I go through that stop light God will never talk to me again. Said God was warning him not to take the mark of the beast etc. I took him to Doctor who had him put in mental hospital for a week. Now he is on Zoloft and Zyprexa. He sleeps all the time now. Won't leave the bedroom. DOesn't want to be around people. Won't leave our bedroom today. Can't carry on a conversation. Yesterday I took him out of the house for a while. He thought everyone was out to get us. Kept freeking. I am thinkking about having some friends of ours come and get him and take him back out of state, where everything was familiar to him. Moving seems to have brought everything on. Also everything being unfamiliar. Rose
