This is my first non Medicare/Medicaid or Medicaid only patient, so I'm unsure about how to inquire about coverage. I've been given quoted benefits for inpatient services for the actual transplant, but I am unsure on the eval. Do commercial insurances usually require authorization for an evaluation, even though services are billed to the OACC? Any help is greatly appreciated!
