hi, this is kinda old so i don't know if anyone else has said this but gargle with salt water and asprin- the uncoated kind that has been ground up in warm water. it has always worked wonders for me. also, there is an elderberry elixer that is wonderful. i don't remember the name, but i think it is put out by dr. dunner. it is a great immune booster. hope you are feeling better. janet

Hi Liz,Check out this 3 page link, all natural rememdies... If you have Vit C, taking higher doses may be of help... Zinc is another good one... If you have MMS, this may work quickly...http://altmedicine.about.com/od/treatmentsfromatod/a/colds_flu_2.htmFor a sore throat, place 1 tsp of raw honey on a tablespoon, a pinch of cayenne pepper, fill the rest of the Tbsp with fresh squeezed lemon juice, down the hatch! Do this as often as you like.. Take care,Jim>> Does anyone have any advice on knocking out a cold naturally? I have a terrible sore throat and it hurts to swallow but can't take motrin for pain cause i am on blood thinners. Has anyone rifed for a cold and got better sooner? I have a bcx ultra model. > > Blessings,> > Liz>
