This is my limited knowledge. My brother and his son have those stinky-egg smelling farts, upon no treatment. We take mild things to boost glutathione with no noticeable change in smells. I have taken Alpha lipoic acid here and there and fancy glutatione here and there with no noticeable change in smells any more than what one would get with taking EDTA or some other chelator. There is a change in smell upon using any type of chelation, and it is smells like rotting dead flesh. LOL on these smells! The smells are more initially and then they taper off as the item continues to be used. So, the smell is an initial reaction, like a change in microflora or dumping of toxins, but the smell does not continue. Since symptoms are not associated with smells, other than a slight queasiness in the abdomen, they are not really given much attention.

Samento seems to really change our smell though. It causes the urine to smell like cleaning supplies, like Pine-sol, but not strong, more like a green grassy smell with a little bit of Pine sol. This smell continues in the urine for quite a while, for weeks, maybe longer. Other than that, we normally just get smellier stools when initially on a new pathogen-killer, but it's just stronger, not different. Ok, now I am really LMAO. We are strep carriers here, and still have it, so it may be we never did anything to strongly work against it. We have had lots of ammonia smelling urine though. It goes away upon using l-citrulline. And what's even more odd is that we had ammonia-smelling urine for a very long time, but after using l-citrulline for a couple of weeks and then stopping it's use, the ammonia smell is not returning. Ok, this is all I know - now I am ROFLMAO.

Love and prayers,

Heidi N

I have been on the A-M list for over four years and my son was recovered on it. I post their regularly and Dana posts there regularly and her kids are recovered. There have been scores of children recover, regularly you hear of children having gains. The people with recovered kids do move on and don't be on the list anymore. There is a files and photos section on the list where it lists before and after pictures of all of the recovered kids. Mine is one of them. So I don't get how people can say that kids don't recover over there. The before and after picture section is pages long. There is nothing Andy's protocol can do for someone with bad adrenals, you can't chelate with bad adrenals. Andy will just say fix the adrenals, but that is not an answer while your waiting. What we found out this week is that there are people who can't detox, and those people excrete, we learned about plant stem cells and the isotonic water and so many other things those kinds of people can do. There are some kids that take rounds and rounds upon one hundred rounds and they don't have gains, so there are failures, and it is my hope that we will have more answers for the failures by keeping an open mind and getting more information.

I guess really all you can do is ask AC. BTW- this thread is my fault so we should probably stop it here. We need to be using the docs initials to protect them, even if we don't agree with them. You should also just contact Dana about the question. Even though there are some docs that I just can't stand I've done my best to stay neutral on the boards, so I need a spanking myself today. Lets put this thread on hold for now and if you want do research on your own, we can continue it on off list. Thanks a bunch!Tami

Tami,

Sorry, ok subject dropped!

just a funny sentiment that i picked up from my cousin who lived in seattle for a while, he's usually really cool, smart/open minded and a big outdoors person (i am not a nature girl--i don't like bugs and i squish them and move on)....but it seems that if you cry lyme there is alot of Oh My Gosh Not Lymes Again out there in the big wet, green, moldy mountains of WA.  so what makes this mess so evil for some of us?

sometimes i think AC has a point...he looked at my paperwork and replied quite frankly to chelate properly and let the IS take care of the lymes.....problem was, no doc would chelate my kid (but a LLMD saw the need to crack a whip at the stuff but that's after 2 years of herbalist building the kid up)....so i circle the wagon trying to peel off a little garbage only to learn that so many really smart moms have chelated, tried everything and still their kids are stuck.

so....what is it?  is mold a bigger player in all this?  i remember rita posting that some molds, aspergillis in particular, hold onto antimony.  gee antimony is the one kicker metal that is a bitch to lower (and avoid)....or is mold a bigger player in this mess.  is it GMO'd bugs?  or is it a mix of crummy genetics and goop?  but it is something and it's more than just toxic soup or we'd all crash and burn.

i love the zyto idea...and CHARM.  it would be really interesting to track HLA DR BQ typings along with some of the other difficult genetic elements in this mess like that P450 pathway, mthfr, yasko panel add in a few titers for vaccinated kids (and parents--note the S)....we learn as we go and to be able to share road map with a newcomer would be helpful to the kids...but if we could TRACK this component i think we would also see something in black and white no one could longer ignore (gee, mabye they'll ban mercury in our mouths, ear drops etc)....kids get attention and moms make it happen.  there are so many darn tests...i don't know if i ran out of money or blood...but there is a panel of crummy large national labs that we could put together that would show something...and perhaps a "brief history" which could be referred to as "epigentics"...if we can get some insight in terms of where to start looking we can zero in more effectively.

modern medicine is the only facet of my life that i really played by the "rules"--i never gave it much thought as i didn't need to until.... and it's had really negative and devastating consequences.

Pramila,

I think that just proposed some great business requirements or user requirements for CHARM. HLA typing, liver detox phase I, II, III involved genes, and Yasko panel can be used to divide subgroups of children. In the long run, parents can identify their children with the profiles of subgroups to seek out effective treatments in the archive.

, I think this is a great idea. Girl, you are thinking straight at this late hour in the east coast.

Well please keep in mind that AC is not a Doctor, AC is a scientist. AC doesn't have a medical degree, he is an expert in what vitamins and supplements and chelators do to the body, what their half life is, and when and how they should be taken. His work is valuable. I don't see any point in diminishing the wonderful work he has done to help people to elevate K or C. AC has helped many children recover, and he has taught parents to take control over their own health and think for themselves and avoid potentially dangerous things. He has helped many toxic people recover from Amalgam Illness and his work on hair test interpretations and his book on Amalgam Illness are wonderful resources. I used them as a guide often during my child's treatment. I would not chelate with chlorella. I wouldn't. I combine A's chelation with other treatments to get my children better. He may be in little league compared to whoever, well of course anyone who doesn't aknowledge that chronic lyme exists is still playing in the sandbox with sand toys compared to someone who says "hey this all could be related to lyme", and once you admit that, you go to the next level very quickly.
