Guest guest
I was looking at my Prometrium label which is recommended to be taken once per day, 100 mgs each day. Then I read “A young and healthy menstrual cycling woman secrete 208 mg progesterone during a 28 days cycle (1) which is equivalent to 2,496 mg per year.” on the rhythmic living website. (106,892 per year or 42x what a cycling woman secretes.) So the Wiley protocol recommends many times this per month and causes problems, but the mainstream medical dosage is still 36,500 mgs per year as compared to the 2,496 mgs of a 28 day cycle of a cycling women --14x more than from normal cycles. (After a few weeks on the medical dosage, my symptoms match what is on the rhythmic progesterone symptoms exactly, even though the dose is much less. So I can’t begin to imagine what those of you who actually did the Wiley went through.) Another reason to adjust dosage to a more appropriate level if one needs to oppose the E. Especially since the menopause level E dosage is much smaller than what a cycling woman would produce in a month. Does anyone have references for the normal monthly secretion for estadiol of a cycling woman? Have been searching but keep bumping into monthly cycle graphs with no data as to actual amounts of hormones. I keep finding statements that the post menopausal dosage for E is very low, but no where can I find much about what low is (2 pumps estrogel per day 0.06 mgs each pump) compared to “not low”. Graphs show the E peaks and valleys very similar to the P ones, but don’t know if these are figurative or literal representations.
