Guest guest
Andy, Lurker here, but we have a gym like this in my town..there is a person on duty during the day, but all other hours and weekends, you have a card to get into it. It appears to work great and is successful in this market. I wonder about the liability issue if someone got hurt there though!

Guest guest
I have a question and feel free to provide input. How would you feel about a gym where you have an access card to get in 24 hrs per day? Each time you checked in, it would be recorded on a computer. For security, you could wear a necklace when you checked in to push a button to alert emergency personnel in the event of a medical emergency or intruder. The owner would keep in contact with members via e-mail, providing advice and answering questions. The owner would also be available limited times on site. Guest guest
I think in New York City & environs, anyway, there always has to be someone on site. And most gyms here require staff to be CPR certified. Jeff
