Gym question

Andy,

Lurker here, but we have a gym like this in my town..there is a person on

duty during the day, but all other hours and weekends, you have a card to get

into it. It appears to work great and is successful in this market. I wonder

about the liability issue if someone got hurt there though!

It's a local gym, not part of a chain...it's a family that owns two

locations.

I have a question and feel free to provide input.

How would you feel about a gym where you have an access card to get

in 24 hrs per day? Each time you checked in, it would be recorded on

a computer. For security, you could wear a necklace when you checked

in to push a button to alert emergency personnel in the event of a

medical emergency or intruder.

The owner would keep in contact with members via e-mail, providing

advice and answering questions. The owner would also be available

limited times on site.
