Guest guest
If a living kidney donor presents to your program post-donation with complications related to donation and recipient doesn’t have Medicare (or any insurance that covers donor complications), how does your program handle this? Do you hold the recipient responsible, or does the facility write off charges to keep the donor from being charged?
