Guest guest
Robin,I’m not too familiar with that particular insurance however you should be able to call in and get prior authorization for the transplant procedure when you get the exact date then you should call in and pre-cert that admission. Hope this helps. Caryn Riley Transplant Financial Coordinator University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System840 S Wood St Suite 402Chicago, Illinois 60612Tel No. Fax No. railey1@... I just have a basic question (I hope). I need to obtain a prior authorization for kidney transplant from Mass Health. The recipient has a living donor and we are tentatively scheduling for May. 1.) Do I obtain the prior authorization directly from the Provider Online Service Center?2.) Since I do not have a specific date of transplant yet, can I still obtain prior authorization now w/out a specific date?Thank you, in advance, for the help! *********************EMAIL DISCLAIMER********************* This email and any files transmitted with it may be confidential and are intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
