I am really looking forward to going. I will do cardio after work...and

listen to some pump me up CD on my Walkman. :D

I ate one of my sister's waffles and really liked them. Have you tried the

muffins yet?

Kelley,

I bet you'll be surprised when you get to the gym what a great workout

you'll have. Taking needed time off from weight-training is a good thing.

Tell me how you like those waffles - I've been making the pancakes a lot and

just found out that the same batter is great as muffins!

No, I haven't had the muffins but I might try them for an afternoon meal

today - I'll let you know how they turn out!

Hey, gang, just checking in with some news. My flare has gotten much better,

blood tests look better than they were and my pain level is way down, too. Down

to 15 mgs of Pred right now, hoping to taper more soon. Dealing with a lot of

withdrawals, but over all, things are a lot better.

I wanted to let you all know that I will be having surgery next week

(hysterectomy). I have had many problems with scar tissue over the years and

have realized that I can no longer put it off. Unfortunately, they will have to

open up my abdomen instead of doing it through laproscope, which means 3-5 day

stay in the resort and longer healing time. But it must be done, so keep me in

your prayers, lol, my family, too, they won't know what to do with Mom lying

around, unable to lift or do! (Actually, the hardest part for me will be I won't

be able to lift my sweet grandbaby!)

All this is pending my other doc's approval, but I really don't see a problem

with it. Surgery is next Wednesday, the 8th, I will email you guys beforehand

but not sure when I will be back on after.

All those that are suffering from loss or pain, please know that I read the

posts and have you in my hearts!

Love to all,

Gail (KY)

Gail and cat

Know that you’re both being thought of in some big ways as you each deal

with your things that you’re faced with. Gail one trick I may pass along to

you is after the operation is have a good soft pillow with you and when you sit

up cough or what ever hug that pillow good as it will help to support you belly.

My ex learned that one after two c sections and a partial hysterectomy. She also

told my father about it after his prostate surgery and he also did it and found

so relief doing so. That is how I know about it and am able to pass it along to

you I mean after all I am a male redneck and have no first hade experience with

it for me I would expect a Masson jar or two of moon shine would cover any pain

but then again were not supposed to do that LOL

Cat you better keep a good eye on the toe of yours and if possible get a

second opinion on it also but do not just let it go tell it is to far gone! As

for you best furry friend we as in I hope for the best again as I did have the

same things one time I found on my old friend. He was pit-bull and English

pointer mix and about 12 at the time .I still think of him a lot and it was not

the bumps that got him but arthrightest believe it or not! Any way to you both

hugs
