Guest guest
Hello, I was wondering if anybody has any paperwork (benefits, estimated out of pocket, etc)that they provide to VAD patients during the evaluation that they are able to share? What type of things are provided to these patients other than major medical benefits? thanks so much! Leah CMC
Guest guest
I would welcome any information, as well. Right now, I typically just check their benefits but have not officially been compiling their benefit info or providing them with information as I would the transplant patients. M. Guest guest
We provide them with all the info as we would a transplant patient, whether they be a BTT or DT VAD. Included in the benefit information is information on which type of VAD is covered, or not, and also potential costs of supplies etc as they are often not covered by the plan.
